Beyond Strengths: The Character Science Leaders Need Now

I just completed my Tilt365 certification — a strengths-based, character-focused assessment — and I’m excited to start using it and see how it stacks up with modern leadership.
I’ve used tools like CliftonStrengths for years, especially during my time at Google. They’re great for self-awareness, but I wanted something that also builds agility — the ability to adapt how we show up in different situations.
That’s what drew me to Tilt365. Think CliftonStrengths, but with a growth mindset and character science baked in.
We all have natural preferences that shape how we behave, especially under stress. Awareness is great — but agility is what drives better leadership.
I learned this in sales. With Tilt365, they would call me a Connector through and through: relationships, ideas, collaboration.
But this didn't always work for me. I remember one example when I worked with a CMO who was my exact opposite — data-driven, structured, no small talk. If I’d relied solely on my connection strengths, I could have turned her off completely.
Tilt365 helps leaders understand not just their strengths, but when those strengths get overused — and how to “tilt” into a more effective style when the moment calls for it.
When leaders adapt to different communication and working styles, teams see:
✨ fewer misunderstandings
✨ stronger relationships
✨ better collaboration and innovation
If you’re curious about strengths + character + agility, reach out! I'm excited to apply this to individuals but also to team settings.
